When Is Pregnancy Acne Supposed To Clear Or Go Away?
I’m 4 1/2 months pregnant & having acne on my face, chest & back.
It doesn’t seem to be like regular pimples I’ve ever had before. When will this go away?
I’m using Olay face wash, astringent & a light moisturizer (only in the morning.) I’m using the astringent on my back & chest as well.

for me it was unlike regular pimples, & they lasted until a few weeks after i delivered. i didn’t get them on my chest or back though, i tried ‘proactive’ & ‘acne free’ & about every other thing out there, it just didn’t clear up for me, in fact it got really bad when i was about to give birth. hopefully for your sake it goes away soon! either way this is the most beutifull time of your life, congrats!

ProActiv or Acne Free is great for pregnancy acne.

umm…not too sure. I use rubbing alcohol to clean my face in the mornings & after showers to keep the grease off of my face so i dont break out that bad. but everyone is different.

maybe it will go away after you give birth. It takes time.

It happens to a lot of pregnant women. My friend had it all over her face & body so bad. she had it for months. But it did clear up in the end by it’s self. I think it’s from the hormones going crazy! It will clear up & you’ll have soft beautiful skin again!

Use Niapads – Nicotinamide pads for controlling acne. Just one dab of Niapads on your pimple and watch the pimple fade. Scientists at NY University College of Medicine have shown that Niacinamide (aka Nicotinamide) is superior to antibiotics such as Clindamycin in controlling acne. Niapads is a one step process for reduction of skin hyperpigmentation (acne scars) and acne. You can also cut a piece of Niapads, moisten it with water and place it like a bandaid on stubborn acne. The ingredients penetrate and kill acne bacteria. Simply peel the pad off when it is dry. http://www.niapads.com
