If you have acne, don’t put anything on your face but a prescription cream called, Duac. It is the ONLY thing that worked & helps clear scarring as well. Your face is already producing enough oil. You only need moisturizers if your skin is DRY. Ask your doc for that cream. It WORKS!
Not on it’s own, if you are using a medicated acne treatment then you are drying out your spots. It’s then important to moisturize so that the rest of your skin doesn’t become dry & flakey!
If you have acne the your skin is more likely to be oily anyway so an oil free moisturizer that is water based will keep your skin hydrated (especially in winter) without making the problem worse.

no. drinking water (8 pints a day ) is the best & most natural way of giving your skin moisture.
