Can I Use My Moisturiser As A Primer? Will It Do The Same Job And Prevent The Make-up Seeping Into My Pores?
PLS READ!:
I want to use my Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture moisturiser-For Sensitive Skin (the one in a white bottle) which is water-based as a primer.
Will it do the same job as a primer & prevent the chemicals of the makeup seeping into my pores?
The Neutrogena moisturiser i wanna use is this one here

I use a 6 step regime daily – so I’d say it is fine
if any of your skin care contain chemicals – I’d throw them out.
I only use & wear pure & natural items because so many things contain “junk” & it does get sucked in to our bodies.
I am not sure it will be a huge barrier (any cream you choose) but I’d look at labels with your make up.
Try using a tinted moisturizer then instead. I use one from the fyi line with Arbonne it’s made of Vitamin E, white tea extract, cinnamon bark extract -
I use it instead of the spf 8 in my regime – & it is fine for all skin types.

You should ALWAYS use a moisturizer before applying any type of make-up including foundations & powders.

I use Neutrogena Oil-Free moisturizer – Pore Control. I use it under my foundation, & for me it works great. Just always be sure whatever moisutrizer OR foundation you choose – be sure the label reads “noncomodogenic”, also like you refered to, “Oil-Free”. That means it won’t clog your pores.
TIP: If it’s pores your mostly concerned with, try what else I use: after cleansing my face, I use Neutrogena Pore Control Toner. It really deep cleans, without chapping or over drying my skin.
And, ALWAYS ALWAYS: one with sunscreen of at least 30!! When you’re a few years older, you’ll be sooo glad you did!
