There is always the possibility. Not all germs if you mean bacteria & viruses are bad. Also the older the product is (from its actual production) the greater the chance for germs.Some germs live in a dry environment others in a moist environment. The worst thing is a completely sterile environment if it’s actually possible to have an Absolutely sterile environment out side a complete vacuum.
