Moisturizer Answers

I have a bottle of moisturizer that I’ve had for years because it’s really rich & you don’t need to use much at all (it’s Aveda so it was also $$$$). It has SPF 15 & I’m wondering if that will work forever or if it loses its effectiveness. There are guidelines for throwing out old makeup, what about old moisturizer?

In what ways is it suppose to help with skin;how does it help give a more youthful appearance?

in the uk, where could i get lemon moisturiser?
ive tried lush, body shop, boots & superdrug.

I was buying a few things from the Body Shop that I had run out of, such as face moisturiser. I was at £13 & qualified for free Standard Delivery at £15 so decided to buy a hair conditioner & I ended up paying £12 for everything.
I bought this Banana hair conditioner because there was absolutely nothing else I needed. It’s a decent, moderately expensive item & was just wondering what difference it would make to my hair?

I am a pale girl & i want to have a tan but not a fake one. I was wondering if the summer glow moisterizer with spf20 works. If you know anything else that works please tell me. Thank youuu.

How long do you have to wait before you can your clothes on & so it can dry ?

i have acne-prone skin & sometimes i don’t know whether or not i should put my moisturizer on or not.
MY QUESTION IS THIS
If my face feel tight after shower, i know i must put moisturizrer on
but if my face feel ok, does it need moisturizer? When do i know i have enough on.

and if you do, what have been your results.
Does anyone in here apply moisturizer to your entire body everyday? Wouldn’t that be a lot of work? I thought most people just apply it to their face & hands.
The reason I ask is because this guy I am thinking applies moisturizer to his entire body & it has me a little freaked out. Would you date someone who did this?

for a face wash, i use neutrogena oil free acne wash & i absolutely love it. i’ve used it for a few months & i don’t have acne anymore (just a few blemishes). the only downside to this product is that it makes my face very dry. i’ve used a few different moisturizers, & they usually cause breakouts. does anyone know a good moisturizer i can use that hopefully won’t cause breakouts? it doesn’t really matter if it’s at a drugstore or not.

I’m really pale so I want a glow for prom season. How long does it take tinted moisturizer to show visible results? I don’t want a self-tan as it always goes streaky, & I just want a glow anyway.

I mean i know, that it moisturies, but hey lotion does that too, so whats the difference?
I use a coupld of ance treatments, leaving my skin pretty dry.. so i was wondering would moisturizer be good? What are good brands & stuff~thanks.

I have been told my skin is sensitive. I found that if I don’t apply any moisturizer, after like 6 to 7 days my cheeks will get red after showers & if it is windy outside & stay like that the most of the night- so I Apply moisturizer once, cycle continues. So I ask, do people with sensitive skin require moisturizers to keep redness away.

It pre conditions your skin. It not only helps your makeup stay on longer it brings colors out.
Try it on your hands.
One hand put moisturizer on & then blush or something
Other hand wash it & only put the blush on.
You will see the difference.

i use Jergens skin moisturizer on my face & i was wondering if it makes you break out becuase its not formulated pacificly for the face.

I have tried various brand of moisturizer & is very confuse. you see, i have oily face at times & dry face at time. For some brands, after applying, my skin feel like i hadnt apply anything b4. however for some, it felt sticky & after a while, my face seem oily. Does this mean that it is not suitable for me? even though it say hydrating moisturizer?tks

i am 15 years old & this is what i wear before u go & say ur to young
listen my mom lets me wear all this everyday.so this is what i do.
I moisturizer my face with cetaphil daily advance ultra hydrating lotion for dry skin
2 i use hard candy sheer envy primer with a tiny bit of cover girl aqua smoothes tinted moisturizer
to give a hint of color.
3. i use revlon color stay foundation for normal to dry skin in 110 ivory & revlon photo ready foundation mixed together
i put it on my face & rub it in with my hands & then put a other layer of it on
4. i use revlon color stay under eye concealer in fair
5. i use maybelline dream matte pressed powder
6.i use any blush i want
7 i use any bronzer i want
8. i use eyelid primer
9 any eyeshadow i want blue gold white so on & so on
10.mascara
11.hd powder to put all over my face
12.chapstick
13 lipstick
14.lip gloss
i am a beauty person on youtube & also it does not look cakey at all

i use foundation to cover up beauty marks,redness,make my skin tone even
i use primer to keep my foundation on for a long time
i use pressed powder to keep my foundation in place
i use blush to make me look alive bc im so pale
i use bronzer to make my face look tan bc im so pale
i use hd powder bc i have a hd cam
so yea i remove all my makeup before i go to bed
i wear makeup everyday

I am highly allergic to alcohol when in beauty products. I once put a moisturizer on my face that did have alcohol in it, & it burned layers of my skin off. Even the most natural alcohol will react with my skin. So what body moisturizer doesn’t have alcohol?

ok so here’s the thing first off i want to say that i use revlon colorstay because i heard it is like the best drugstore foundation. So this is how i apply my foundation please tell me if i am missing something/ doing something wrong
1. I wash my face
2. Apply clean & clears moisturizer
3. Pour some foundation on the palm of my hand & use a regular thin foundation brush from walmart
4. Lock it in with L’Oreal true match pressed powder
That’s basically all i do & my face salways look cakey it’s so gross I heard of primer but isn’t that the same thing as regular mosturizer? & is primer really neccessary for makeup to look good? What else would you recommend me to do/buy??
p.s PLEASE don’t suggest any MAC products or something pricy

and if so, would they recommend it or can they recommend anything they think is really worth the money?

Even after Iv exfoliated & made sure Iv put it on wven it still leaves me with patches?
