Moisturizer Answers

I’ve been using St. Ives Intensive Healing Advanced Body Moisturizer, & it has worked better then anything else, but I still have a feeling that there’s something better out there. I can obtain soft skin, but I just really want that shiny smooth, waxed look without having to wax. Thank you.

I heard that using body lotions such as Vaseline or Nivea on your face can clog your pores & sometimes cause pimples & that moisturizer is what you’re supposed to use on your face? I wanted to know if anyone can confirm that this is true. Thanks!

I don’t like how greasy & heavy sunscreen is. I already use a daily facial moisturizer that contains SPF & a hand cream that contains SPF. But what are good daily body lotions or creams that contain SPF?

it’s winter so my face is pretty dry & my other face moisturizer doesn’t moisturize it like i want it to. so i put the lotion on my face & it moisturizes my face like i want it to.
but i hear things that your not suppost to put body lotion on your face.
so is it okay because it moisturizes my face?

i heard lotion clogs pores. & thats bad for some reason..
and i also heard that drying out your acne is good..
but i also heard that when your skin dries out, your body moisturizes your skin with its own oils but the oils have toxins in it so its bad…
so is it good or bad?

Alba has a really good body lotion with sunscreen in it, but I couldn’t find it. Instead I got Aveeno daily moisturizer face lotion, could I use that on my body?

OK, so I live in Colorado, which means super cold, dry winters by themselves. However, I also work with food for my job. Between the constant removing & replacing of rubber gloves couples with the normal dryness of winter, my hands are having some serious problems. I’ve tried several lotions & none of them seem to be doing the trick. Currently I’ve been using aveeno 24hr moisturizer & even that isn’t helping. My hands are dry & chapped & hurt! Please can someone recommend something that works amazingly. Thank you.

im 18 & i do a lot of chores around the house, & for that my skin is horrible! my hands & feet looks like its 30 because of the wrinkles & dryness. my body has stretch marks & it’s also very dry! i’ve been searching to find a good moisturizer out there to cure the dryness of my whole body. does anybody have any great moisturizer they’d like to share with me? please! thanks for your time

Aren’t they both the same? And for the people who use acne cleansing products, do you prefer Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control Power-Foam Wash or Clean & Clear Continuous Control Acne Cleanser?

Im 23 & I use an spf for my face & a night lotion, but Im confused on what is the proper care for the rest of my body. Can I use a regular body lotion for example, Jergens naturals Renew daily moisturizer, or is it really nescessary to use a body lotion with a built in sun protection? Would I have to buy two body lotions..one with built in sun protection & one without it, like I do with my face?

i need a really thick, moisturizer for my body & my face to make it glow & make it soft & stuff. what do i use ?

Is there really a difference? My face is dry & my body lotion doesnt seem to help. Is that because I need face moisturizer stuff or just because my body lotion is cheap?

should I say a facial scrub makes ur skin clean & remove all dirt & stuffs,and lotion helps you maintain your skin & somehow take care of it,like moisturizing & lightenign up the skin.
is that right? if not,correct me,and tell me the difference!

my face always goes dry!!! i have always used oil of olay lotion ..intense moisture. It is not helping..what do you think is the best face wash & lotion to use for my very dry..sensitive skin?

does it really help?? has it worked for you?? it says it helps clear up pimples in 8hours. Its a PM moisturizer..please let me know if you have tried it.thanks alot, looking forward to choosing a best answer.

So I bought a bottle of Vaseline aloe fresh hydrating body lotion, & I was wondering if it would be alright if I could use it as a face moisturizer as well? Sorry if this seem to be a stupid question..

Now I may not be the best person to answer this since I’m a guy-loving guy, but my best friend has a body lotion that smells like chocolate… I love it, it’s truly amazing.

I used many diverse products on me (nivea, vaseline l’oreal) which didn’t give me good results then I realize I missed one very important point “the color of my skin” in view of the fact that I’m black, my skin doest not react like white or asian skin so… any help would be welcomed thankss

I am trying to find an oil-free body moisturizer with a high SPF index (50+). I am looking for something that is not too heavy, for everyday application, & preferably something that doesn’t have the strong scent of sunscreen. I am fair skinned & I have sensitive skin & I am going to be moving to Hawaii in a month to attend college there so I definitely need something.
I like the Neutrogena Helioplex moisturizer for my face, is that available as a body moisturizer?
