Hi all
I have occasionally rubbed hand/body type moisturiser (Johnsons & Johnsons) into my scalp when it gets itchy from my shampoo/hair gel & found it almost immediately brings relief. I have also found that it works well for styling my hair! It’s holds well & provides that wet look so that’s a bonus….
Anyway, I was just wondering if this could be doing any harm, particulary in terms of making my hair fall out?

is NIVEA Visage Young Control It Moisturiser only for ily skin or could normal skin people use it.isi it any good to use under foundation

Since summer is approaching I don’t want to wear heavy foundation. I am looking for a tinted moisturiser with at least SPF 15.
My skin is very fair, freckly (due to red hair) & I do have a fair few blemishes. I know the tinted moisturisers aren’t excellent for coverage but I’m getting fed up of foundation in the heat. Due to blemishes I also want to avoid anything too oily.
My skin is also sensitive so anything heavily perfumed is a no-no. Any suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks!

Try using Dr Hess Udder Ointment found at www.udderointment.com. It works fantastic on all skin needs including eczema, dryness, chafing, diaper rash, cracked heels & more. There will be a slight burning when using the product due to the menthyl salicylate. i am on roaccutane. will applying this moisturiser have a negative affect on my acne

Avon – “Wintersoft”
It’s a hand cream that’s specifically formatted for when skin dries out during the winter. Nivea is a good cream, but expensive & greasy. The tube of Avon cream will only set you back about $3 bucks & you should be able to get it online, either at avon.com, on ebay, or if you have a local Avon rep you can get it from them.

fine but as all products hav some miss-effect it also has. for normal skin, it is especially made. for oily skin it will never work. but as if ur skin is normal then it may work wonders. but iof u leave using it ur skin becomes worser than b4. so u can use it continuously without side-effects.

Is it OK for me to use this anti ageing moisturiser on my face when I’m only 22 or you think it is more suitable for mature skin? My face has tiny brown spots which I think are caused by the sun. The product says that it can repair skin that is damaged by sun however it says anti ageing. Do you think it is still ok for me to use it or it might be a little bit too strong?

Boots own products are very good ideed, as is Nivea. They have the same effect as most of the £10 a jar ones!!! Also good is Johnsons b aby lotion. I am 65 & look 10 years younger by using these cheaper products, than my friend who is 67 & looks 80 & pays £45 a jar!!!

It helps your skin retain moisture which protects it & keeps it supple , slowing down the ageing process. It helps prevent infection as dry skin can crack providing a port of entry for bacteria.It also acts as a barrier against pollutants from the environment .

Most sunscreens ARE moisturizers, so you really only need one. If you have very dry skin, or want to use your normal moisturizer, apply the moisturizer first, then wait until it soaks in completely, & then you can use the SPF over it. Make sure you give the moisturizer enough time to soak in (I would wait at least 30 minutes) or when you apply the SPF, it won’t soak in & can be easily rubbed off.

Is it ok to apply concealer after tinted moisturiser coz I want to look as natural as possible & thought that a face full of foundation wasn’t doing my acne prone skin any good…

I live in the Uk, I’m looking for a really good tinted moisturiser that goes on like a cream rather than a foundation. I don’t want it for coverage like a foundation, just to give myself a bit of colour.

I’m looking for a good tinted moisturiser for fair/pale skin that will not give me a tan but will give me light coverage sort of like a foundation. I’d like to keep my fair skin.
I’m also looking for a good concealer that will cover spots & red marks that I can use under the tinted moisturiser.
Any recommendations will be appreciated, thanks.

Well i have really dry skin & use moisturiser heaps lol, but i recently got a tiel & havent used it, because i don’t want to poison it lol.
But my hands & arms get scratched from her claws & it makes my hands worse cause they are dry.
I really need to moisturise & im just checking it wont harm her.
Please tell me what you think.

Moisturizer: I have 2 I like. One is cheap but fine, the other is a little expensive but amazing. Neutrogena Oil Free moisturizer works for me, & Clinique Dramatically different Moisturizing lotion I love.
