Moisturizer Answers

When I apply moisturizer during the day or night, I hate the uncomfortable & greasy feeling. So how do I hydrate my skin without using moisturizers?
PS: I know drinking a lot of water will help my skin but is there any other way?

And is it harmful for your skin, also what are the best ones that are not too pricey?

I have heard so many different opinions & wanted to hear when you started putting moisturizers on your baby & putting oils & bits in the bath for your newborn ?
My partner has severe excema so i dont want to start too early but at the same time his skin is really dry & i dont want to leave it too long!!

In my t-zone, my skin is oily, but on my cheeks it is dry. None of the things I have used work, they either dry up my face even more or make my face oilier.

Is it just as bad as putting on foundation ?
Anyone know of any good tinted moisturizers that are okay for acne prone skin ?

i have a rash on my arms & legs because of my dry skin, my doctor recommended me a lotion called amlactin, but it didnt work that great. So does anyone know some really good lotions/soaps/etc. well anything that can get my skin less dry is fine. also is there any kind of moisturizer thing that opens your pores?
Any good brands? Ive tried aveeno, it works ok but i still cant get the spots that are really rashed to go away.

I have just recently begun to use Proactiv. Even though I’m using the lotion that was provided, my face continues to feel tight & dry throughout the day. My skin even becomes flaky on some days. Are there any other good moisturizers outside of the Proactiv system to help with this dryness & flakiness & that’s okay to use with Proactiv?

Ok so i’m in the process of transitioning from relaxed to natural & I would like to know what are the best moisturizers for my hair to do this? I know not to use anything with petroleum & mineral oil.
Ladies (those who’ve gone natural in particular) what do you suggest i use as a daily moisturizer?

I have acne prone skin but my face gets dry sometimes & it flakes. I need a good brand of tinted moisturizer that I can use to moisturize & cover blemishes but is gentle on the skin. Thanks for your help!

I use Dr. Weil serum & I love it, but it’s so expensive. My skin loves Dr. Weil & I can tell a big difference right away; however I need to find something I can afford long term. Any suggestions for skin calming moisturizers for sensitive skin? Thanks

Nothing expensive though. Something from Nuetrogena, Clean & Clear, Clearisil. Those sorts of places please. Or Biore.
Also something to remove blackheads, from the same 4 companies. Thank you!

And also…. If you use Clean & Clear Dual Action moisturizer (or any of the clean & clear moisturizers) can you tell me if they clog your pores or what the results were?

The best thing is also the cheapest. Unperfumed sorbalene cream. Most moisturisers are derived from sorbalene anyway. For the record try oatmeal baths, they are exellent relief for eczema.

Also something to remove blackheads, from the same 4 companies. Do pore strips work? The kind you put over your nose? I’ve always wanted to try those, that’s where my blackheads are.

Right now I’m using a Vaseline body moisturizer (I think it’s the one with shea(sp?) butter). Its okay, but leaves my skin feeling “sticky”, even if I want for it to dry it still feels “sticky” all day & it kinda makes my legs soft but not as much (lol if that makes any sense?)… So I’m wondering whats all of your favorite drugstore moisturizers you use to make your skin really soft?

i am thinking of getting a cetaphil moisturizer or a Neutrogena moisturizer.. which one do you guys recommand ? (i need it to even out my skin tone & remove blemishes )and how long do you start seeing improvment?.. please help =)

All of the razors I have used which are schick & mainly gillete leave red burning marks on my skin.. I know im following the directions & shaving cream procedure properly…perhaps a cooling gel of moisturizer?
