Moisturizer Answers

I’m currently using Dove everyday moisturiser/tan & it has made me slightly more tanned but I’d still like to be darker. I need something that’ll suit my mild eczema. Would using a bottle of any moisturiser/tan that reads “medium/dark skin” be alright on fair skin, or should I try out a proper fake tan?

I use only completely natural products on my skin & hair. At night I remove my mascara with extra virgin olive oil & then wash my whole face with olive oil, remove the oil with warm water, then re appply some oil for a moisturizer.
I don’t want to wash my face with olive oil in the morning because it will look oily, is it okay to wash my face on a daily basis with water & green tea? Will the tea dry my face out? And should it be warmed? or cold…(like I could make it the night before & put it in the fridge)

And when should you use each? Should you use the acne cleanser & then immediately following use a moisturizer? or what? Is emu oil a good moisturizer?

I just used the mask which might I add is amazing & I already see a difference & it makes my skin soo soft, anyway lol, what moisturizer should I use?

I live in Chicago & the winter winds along with below zeros temps feel like they are cutting through your skin. Is it recommended to use a thicker “winter” moisturizer this time of the year, or will a regular moisturizer that you usually apply work fine?

My back & chest go from dry to oily to normal (no specific order). I am somewhat sensitive to product with a lot of salicylic acid. a product that doesn’t dry out your skin would be nice. Also is there a moisturizer that clears acne scars? Thank you!!

I’ve almost completely given up on products & now i only use water….I’ve used clean&clear sensitive skin foaming facial cleanser, cetaphil gentle skin cleanser, clean&clear morning glow moisturizer,oxy acne pads, & equate acne pads. my acne isn’t very bad…i maybe one or two pimples per month. I usually get them near my hairline, around my nose, & between my eyebrows. & i touch my face a lot & tend to pick at them. I don’t like drinking water either. Any suggestions of what i should do or what i should use?

I’m 15,and I’m in color guard.Color guard/Band practice is everyday after school,from 3:15pm-5:15pm.I am bronze colored & have very oily skin,and i have some acne scars,so I try to hide them with make-up.Well,the make-up im going to use is Revlon Color stay for oily/combination skin.
But I have a few questions.
What moisturizer should I use under my make-up?I prefer oil-free,hypo-allergenic,non-comedogenic & something that doesn’t have a treatement,but isn’t expensive.
Ok another question,before practice,should i remove my make-up with a wipey or make-up removing cloth & then just put on light sunblock?I don’t want to wash cause i won’t have time & it’ll just dry out my skin.So should I do that?
Cause after practice I go straight home & take a shower & wash my face.
Also,what is a really good Sunblock for my body?Is Neutrogena with Helioplex good protection?I prefer something that protects really really well,as I live in Texas & the practice is 2 hours everyday

I have a lot of blackheads on my nose & on the areas surrounding my nose. I was thinking of trying either St. Ives Blemish & Blackhead Control Scrub or… Clean & Clear Oil Free Dual Action Moisturizer. Have any of you tried either of these products? Are they effective? Can you recommend anything else that worked for you? Thanks in advance!

Atm i only wear moisturizer but i dint want my skin to age from the sun & the environment, any tips?

I have combination skin, & because I use Clean & Clear cleanser, astringent, & moisturizer, all of which contain either benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid, I was wondering if it would dry my skin out too much.

I want one that will give me a nice NATURAL looking tan quickly all over my body.

uhm. i asked what product is better between neutrogena & clean & clear. most of the results were neutrogena, so i bought the new power scrub (acne stress control, the green thing that smells like cucumber^.^). it seemed like it worked so as my friends tell me. but i think my face didnt get as clearer because of the moisturizer i use. so i continued to use my proactiv & it does work i guess along with the facial scrub since the acne did subside. but my skin with proactiv is that it dries out & it stings A LOT. it gets really crusty & i dont really like dry skin.
so what toner or moisturizer should i use?
i wash my face daily so i dont have a problem with being lazy when it comes to washing my face. ( I AM DYING TO GET CLEARER SKIN.)
most of the neutrogena products with the micro clear technology things are facial scrubs. so i was wondering what toner & moisturizer i should use after the scrub.

I have just recently begun to use Proactiv. Even though I’m using the lotion that was provided, my face continues to feel tight & dry throughout the day. My skin even becomes flaky on some days. Are there any other good moisturizers outside of the Proactiv system to help with this dryness & flakiness & that’s okay to use with Proactiv?

I apply tea tree oil to my face & body with a cotton pad every night before I put on moisturizer. For the body I use one pad with three drops, & for my face I use a pad with one drop. I do not dillute the oil with water at all. Is there a better way to apply the oil? Should I add it to my cleanser instead? I havent had any adverse reactions & Ive been using it for a few weeks, should I just continue how I am?

I was recently prescribed to a Benzoyl Peroxide Cleanser & Zania gel to treat my blackheads & slight acne. Both (the cleanser, especially) have been drying out my face IMMENSELY! My dermatologist told me that if my skin starts to dry out, take a break from the wash (peroxide cleanser) for about four days, but continue the use. I have since taken the break, continued the usage, & limited the wash to once a day, whereas whenever else I wash, I just use regular soap. My skin is still very dry to the point of peeling, but also very sensitive. I can’t find a really great moisturizer that doesn’t hurt, sting, or cause redness when I use it on my very dry skin. I need a moisturizer VERY badly. I have used Aveeno, Cetaphil, & St. Ives moisturizers, & all result in me rushing to the bathroom sink to relieve my face of incredible discomfort.
Does anybody know of a moisturizer that might fit my situation?

what exactly is tinted moisturizer? does it appear to look like foundation? Does it make you face look smooth like foundation? Is it like concealer that hide faults on face?

I am just getting interested in wearing makeup. What basic makeup should I wear? I have light skin, some acne, & I “cry” when I laugh so I can’t wear eyemakeup that runs. I was thinking tinted moisturizer, clear mascara, eyeshadow, lipgloss, blush or bronzer, no eyeliner. And I wouldn’t wear everything or wear it everyday. Any tips or info?
