Apricot Kernel Oil

Apricot Kernel Oil is extracted from apricot kernels & has a very high Vitamin E content (aiding fast absorption) & is a trygliceride composed of 75% oleic acid & 20% linoleic acid, & unsaturated fatty acids esterfied with glycerin – similar to avocado oil & sesame oil. Found to be highly compatible with the skin. Apricot Kernel Oil moisturizes & softens skin while helping retain clarity & suppleness.
Avocado Oil

Avocado Oil, derived from the fruit of a tropical American tree, is a rich, fatty-acid emollient. Avocado Oil is known to be the most moisturizing of any fruit oil. It is also a natural source of Amino Acid proteins, Vitamins A, D, E, & potassium. Helps to restore the natural moisture of the skin.
Glycerin
GLIH-suh-rin’
Glycerin is a by-product of soap manufacturing & is a clear, syrupy liquid, usually derived from vegetable oil & obtained by adding alkalies to fats & fixed oils. It is a solvent humectant & emollient in many skin care products, as it absorbs moisture from the air & thereby helps products retain their moisture. It improves the spreadability of products & has definite skin moisturizing benefits.
Suitable for combination or oily skin, this lathering cleanser is formulated to remove excess oil & dirt effectively from the skin’s surface.
Apply a small amount of the cleanser to fingertips & add a few drops of water to create a lather. Gently massage preparation onto damp skin, avoiding the immediate eye area. Remove with lukewarm water or damp washcloth, if desired.

I am just starting on Retin A & now using Nivea Visage moisturizing cream & facial wash. I would like to know if this is alright or should I switch brands? Also, is it ok to put night cream after I apply Retin A?

I need to find one that works for me. I think my skin is considered combination, but gets dried out really easy. What brand & types do you suggest?
Also what do you like better in a everyday face wash? A scrub, soap, or cream type? What about a moisturizer for everyday use? A light cream, heavy cream or gel?
All types & brands will be considered.

Hi before i leave from home i use a face wash, toner & moisturizer. By the time i reach office my face has a lot of dirt, so i use a face wash & moisturizer again. Will this hurt my skin can anyone suggest an easier routine!

I use only completely natural products on my skin & hair. At night I remove my mascara with extra virgin olive oil & then wash my whole face with olive oil, remove the oil with warm water, then re appply some oil for a moisturizer.
I don’t want to wash my face with olive oil in the morning because it will look oily, is it okay to wash my face on a daily basis with water & green tea? Will the tea dry my face out? And should it be warmed? or cold…(like I could make it the night before & put it in the fridge)

WHAT IS A MOisturizer & were can i get it & wat kind should i get & i wear it after i wash my face riight?

Facial wash: Clean & Clear Acne Wash
Moisturizer: Oxy Oil-control Moisturizer
Acne cream: Clean & Clear Spot treatment
I do not use Oxy Facial wash & acne cream because I heard it dries out skin badly. & I do not use clean & clear moisturizer because it contains salicylic acid which I heard is bad for skin.
So is it safe?

I often get pimples (not acne, just maybe one or two pimples) & have a big problem with black heads on my nose. Sometimes i get large pimples on my hairline which hurt a lot. I have a reasonably healthy diet & drink a lot of water, but am clueless as to how im supposed to wash my face to achieve perfect pimple-free skin. I think i have combination skin…
What products should i use? I heard that you should use an exfoliator, a moisturizer, & a toner, is that right? What order, & how do i apply them & remove them? What temperature water?
Also, how many times a day should i wash my face. I heard that it’s twice, so does that mean as soon as i wake up & just before i go to sleep?

I have light acne but I find that I have dry skin which only makes the problem worse. I want to find a moisturizer that isnt heavy or oily & will help with the reoccuring irritation.

Wash: Clinique`s 3 step system
Mask: Anything from LUSH. Particularly the Love Lettuce
Moisturizer: I have 2 I like. One is cheap but fine, the other is a little expensive but amazing. Neutrogena Oil Free moisturizer works for me, & Clinique Dramatically different Moisturizing lotion I love.

I’ve been using Clinique 3 Step for skin type 3 (oily-conbination oily) & I liked it at first, but I don’t really feel it’s worth the money. It doesn’t really help with my oily skin & really hasn;t cleared up my acne or helped my skin tone that much. I was thinking of maybe trying Clean & Clear products? Are they better for the price or is there something better out there?

Except for antibacterial hand soaps, the ingredients in hand soap & body wash are similar. Although, body wash tends to contain more “extra” stuff – moisturizers, perfume, tea tree this & tea tree that….
Anyway, so my other question is, do you use those two interchangeably? I think that before body wash & liquid hand soaps came into vogue, people used the same bar soaps for handwashing & bodywashing.

I have used really cheap body products & really expensive ones, & I can honestly say that my favorite body wash is Dove Sensitive Skin & my favorite body lotion is Nivea Smooth Sensation – both of which I can find at CVS for about $6 a bottle. They aren’t strongly scented, so I can wear my normal perfume over them, & they are really moisturizing without being greasy.

I really really really need help finding a good face wash & moisturizer. I am really needing to get my skin cleared up before my senior picture next month, I really really want to look awsome in it. My skin tends to break out on my forehead & a little on my cheeks. My skin also tends to get very oily very fast. So I am wondering, what brand & kind of face wash & moisturizer should I go with to get cleared up?

In the mornings I use clean & clear Morning Burst face wash & moisturizer. What are the best products to use at night to remove make up & cleanse & mousturize my face? Nothing too expensive & something you can find at your everyday store (wal-mart, walgreens, etc). Thanks guys!
