Moisturizer Answers

Hi All
I saw a magazine artical the other day raving about the new St Tropez everyday body moisturiser. Its a similar product to Johnsons holiday skin but with the reliable name & lovely tan colour of St Tropez. I have been scouring the net & cant find anywhere with it in stock in fair/medium as it seems to be sold out. Can anyone tell me somewhere i can get some?

ive been using proactiv for about a week. i like it & it seems to be doing a good job, but it is drying my skin out a bit, around my mouth & i want to know whether i can use my normal moisturiser on the dry parts after using the repairing lotion??

I have combination skin. It’s oily but if the lotion doesn’t moisturize enough I end up with dry patches. My skin hydration is 16%, normal is around 40% range. I’ve tried aveeno clear complexion & olay complete. Both products have good reviews, but they leave me with a lot of dry patches. Nothing moisturizes enough.

Iv’e tried Dove-too orangey
Hawaiian Tropic with green tea-lovely colour & skin is silky.
Nivea Summer body-Good also skin is soft & not weird looking.
What do you think?

I’ve often wondered this as old people on the telly seem to have rather an odd amount of make-up on & their face is a mess…

Depending on how bad your eczema is, shea butter & vaseline is a good combination Just before bed, put those on. If it’s on your hands or feet, wrap them in Saran wrap, then put a mitten or sock over it. This will keep you from getting goop all over yourself when you sleep.
If it’s mild, I’ve found that Cetaphil lotion works well. It’s non-allergenic, unscented, & has a lot of moisturizing power in it.

I heard that it was a bad idea to use two different brands, because it can cause a chemical reaction. is this true ?

I have toothpaste on my face now. What am I supposed to do after my pimples dry out?
I have Clean & Clear Moisturizer btw.

I don’t like how greasy & heavy sunscreen is. I already use a daily facial moisturizer that contains SPF & a hand cream that contains SPF. But what are good daily body lotions or creams that contain SPF?

or putting the moisturizer on first before the foundation? i do it all the time & my skin looks perfectly clear. it’s just that it’s really dry.

first of all donot use soap & donot wash your face with that type of face wash which has higher % of Alchohl…try cream wash for your face & add butter in your life & stop dieting if you are on..;)

Well first I bought Clean & Clear Continuous Control Acne Cleanser & used it twice a day & it kept my skin clear. Then I bought Clean & Clear Morning Burst Shine Control Facial Cleanser & use that in the morning & the other one at night. Now ever since I stopped using the Acne Cleanser twice I’m getting more acne. So is it ok to use the Acne Cleanser & the Morning Cleanser together? I’m also going to be putting on a Clean & Clear moisturizer. So it is ok to use both products at the same time (only for the morning though)? Thanks.

Anyone have issues with sunsreen making acrylic or gel artificial nails sticky? This happened to me years ago on my honeymoon, I then had the nails removed. I just had some put on again & they seem to get sticky after I use my facial moisturizer that has sunscreen in it. Anyone else have this issue?

Im 23 & I use an spf for my face & a night lotion, but Im confused on what is the proper care for the rest of my body. Can I use a regular body lotion for example, Jergens naturals Renew daily moisturizer, or is it really nescessary to use a body lotion with a built in sun protection? Would I have to buy two body lotions..one with built in sun protection & one without it, like I do with my face?

I have very sensitive combination skin (very dry around the eye area & cheeks), & I am looking for a daily moisturiser with no fragrance etc, with shea butter & vitamin E, & SPF 15 or higher. I’m going to london in a few days to visit boots, does anyone know of anything like that there?

Neutrogena has a great one that is made specifically for your face.

I need to use one under make up, most only appear to go up to an spf of 15. Also I need it as oil free as possible & not too expensive.
