What Would Be A Good Moisturizer For Extremely Dry Skin?
For around two years now, I have been using 2 acne creams (Differin XP & Clyndoxyl Gel) & it makes my skin really dry & flaky. After reading lots of articles ive come up with the following for my face:
Rubbing Alcohol to remove bacteria & clean
Oil-less moisturizer
15,000 UI of Vitamin A
Would this work do you think? Ive tried quite a few “products” but they never seem to work. Ive noticed the alcohol is DEFINITELY cleaning from what i can see on the cotton wool pad. Im then using the quality moisturizer so my oil glands dont go into overdrive. The high dosage of Vitamin A is to lower my sebum production & for just healthy skin.

Would You Recommen Boots Natural Collection Tinted Moisturiser Or Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse?
If you have a naturally good complexion & don’t want heavy coverage, go for the tinted moisturiser, but if you want more matte & heavier coverage, go for the dream matte mousse. If you have a good complexion you could use the dream matte mousse but just very sparingly, as sometimes tinted moisturiser doesn’t soak in or blend in well, & it can sometimes go goopy when you try to apply more.
However, dream matte mousse can dry your skin out, so you might need to moisturise at night (so that it doesnt stop it from blending in the morning). I found the drying out kinda useful though ‘cos it stopped the area around my nose from becoming as oily. If you don’t have a good complexion & you want to apply lots, be careful as it just piles up on top of your skin & comes off quite easily.
If your skin has red botches, you may not even need these, you could tryu using a green coloured concealer type stick, which counteracts the red colour.

p.s. there are lots light liquid foundations that would work as well as dream matte mousse without drying your skin out, try some testers & see what you think.

Tea tree line is awesome! I’m using the face mask, the body wash, the exfoliator, & the oil when I’m breaking out! If you can stand the weird scent, go for it!
You can also try the Seaweed line! It’s really effective & less drying.

No it’s not meant for your face facail moisturizers are not the same. Plus you don’t want to put something with scent on your face the perfumes in it are not good for your facial skin. The skin on your face is way more sensitve then your bady.

Yes to the first – no to the second. Skin on your face is completely different to skin on your body & requires a different level of moisturising.
