and your favorite face wash & moisturizer?

before you put on makeup, you moisturize your face, but whats the best moisturizer that keeps your face looking matte all day?

In what ways is it suppose to help with skin;how does it help give a more youthful appearance?

I was buying a few things from the Body Shop that I had run out of, such as face moisturiser. I was at £13 & qualified for free Standard Delivery at £15 so decided to buy a hair conditioner & I ended up paying £12 for everything.
I bought this Banana hair conditioner because there was absolutely nothing else I needed. It’s a decent, moderately expensive item & was just wondering what difference it would make to my hair?

I have occasionally rubbed hand/body type moisturiser (Johnsons & Johnsons) into my scalp when it gets itchy from my shampoo/hair gel & found it almost immediately brings relief. I have also found that it works well for styling my hair! It’s holds well & provides that wet look so that’s a bonus….
Anyway, I was just wondering if this could be doing any harm, particulary in terms of making my hair fall out?

The nose doesn’t get wrinkled or dry like other parts of your face (it’s naturally more oily), & it’s more susceptible to blackheads, so should you not moisturize it?
Would moisturizing it get rid of the redness on the nose from previous acne?

Because when I use proactiv, the skin above my eyebrows become really flakey. I use the lotion Proactiv supplies, but it’s not helping, & I try all kinds of oil-free ones & some varied on my skin. Help? What moisturizers do you use for your FACE?

There was a brand, well-known, that made a lotion or product for your face, & it bent light away to make your face look flawless. What is this brand/product? Thanks!

I need to get a foundation that will cover spots & stuff.
But still moisturise my skin.
I have a tinted moisturiser but it dosent cover spots or blemishes, its rubbish!
And do you know any good face cleansers.
Can they please be available in the UK.

i started using a new moisturizer from the brand say yes to carrots & ive noticed that my face started to become oily after a few hours. before using this moisturizer ive never seen my face get this oily. can the moisturizer cause this or is it something else?

And is it harmful for your skin, also what are the best ones that are not too pricey?

I have heard so many different opinions & wanted to hear when you started putting moisturizers on your baby & putting oils & bits in the bath for your newborn ?
My partner has severe excema so i dont want to start too early but at the same time his skin is really dry & i dont want to leave it too long!!

I often get pimples (not acne, just maybe one or two pimples) & have a big problem with black heads on my nose. Sometimes i get large pimples on my hairline which hurt a lot. I have a reasonably healthy diet & drink a lot of water, but am clueless as to how im supposed to wash my face to achieve perfect pimple-free skin. I think i have combination skin…
What products should i use? I heard that you should use an exfoliator, a moisturizer, & a toner, is that right? What order, & how do i apply them & remove them? What temperature water?
Also, how many times a day should i wash my face. I heard that it’s twice, so does that mean as soon as i wake up & just before i go to sleep?

I heard that putting a moisturizer such as lubriderm or St. Ives in your hair can help keep down curly hair & make it more manageable. I’m worried that it is harmful to your hair. Thanks for your responses everyone!

I just started washing my face with cleansers & I was wondering how I would keep my skin moisturized. I have a whole bunch of body lotions at home & I want to know if I can use them instead of buying face moisturizers .

Is it just as bad as putting on foundation ?

Everytime I put on makeup my skin looks flaky & dry so my makeup looks wierd. I did use olay lotion first before putting on my makeup but, it just looked greasy.

I have been using Herbal Essences new shampooes, such as Body Invy, Hello Hydration Moisturizer, & the Green Tea Cleanser. I have notice that my hair it getting to feel limp & lifeless, but I thought the cleanser shampoo is suppose to help protect against build up. I have very thick brown hair. Bottom line, if there is a build up going on, is there any good shampoo I could use that is affordable? Also, I don’t put any hairspray or gels in my hair. I pretty much blow dry & go. And, I have shoulder length hair. Ok, that’s all I got. Thanks!!

I’m going to buy the Venus Embrace razor & Gillette Satincare Alluring Avacado shaving gel. I’m shaving for the first time. =] What is the best moisturizer for me?
